Closed to tourism until 2002, the Nar and Phu Valleys are far removed in both time and space from the neighbouring. Annapurna
Circuit. As you branch north up the Nar Valley the flood of trekkers passing through to a tiny trichle. yak herding and agriculture
remain the mainstay of the economy rather than tourism and the traditional stone-walled villages seem to have maintained a
lifestyle untouched for centuries.
The trek takes you up narrow gorgees to medieval villages, past impressive chortens, herds of blue sheep and spectacular cliffsite
Trails and over one of the region;s highest trekking passes. You’ll pass abandoned settlements once used by Khampa rebels
Popular peaks of Himlung, Kang Garu and Ratna Chuli.
The trek is excellent adventurous add- on to visit to the Manang region or the Manaslu trek. Aftter Nar-pku you would even continue
to Jomsom either over the. Thorong La or, if you properly equipped, via Tilicho Lake and Meso kando La Making full use of your
Camping Crew.
Day 01: Arriving in Kathmandu (1350m).
Day 02: Nar Phu Restricted area trekking permit preparation and briefing of Trek.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu – Besishahar -Chamje (1310meters, 9 hours driving).
Day 04: Trek from Chamje to Dharapani (1920meters, 6 hours walking).
Day 05: Trek from Dharapani to Koto (2600meters, 5 hours walking).
Day 06: Trek from Koto to Meta (3230meters, 7-8 hours walking) .
Day 07: Trek from Meta to Phu Village (4050meters, 7-8 hours walking).
Day 08: Excursion around Phu Village and Monastery.
Day 09: Trek from Phu Village to Nar Phedi (3820m, 5-6 hours walking).
Day 10: Trek from Nar Phedi to Nar Village (4150meters, 2-3 hours walking).
Day 11: VIist 4 Monasteries in Nar Village.
Day 12: Trek from Nar - Kang La Pass -Ngawal (3675meters, 8-9 hours).
Day 13: Trek from Ngawal to Manang (3550meters, 4 hours walking).
Day 14: Trek from Manang to Chame (2650meters, 7 hours walking).
Day 15: Trek from Chame to Chamje (1310meters, 7 hours walking).
Day 16: Chamje Drive to Kathmandu.
Day 17: Departure to your home country.
